Clipboard¶

The Clipboard reads any text without making a file of it: an article, a chat message, song lyrics...

1. Open Clipboard from the home page (or go to /clipboard/).
2. Type or paste your text in the page.
3. Click Read (or press Ctrl / ⌘ + Enter).

The text then works like a book of the Reader: click a word to look it up in your dictionaries, change its status, and make an Anki card with its sentence. Words are coloured by status as you scroll, so long texts open right away. Click Edit to change the text.

The text is kept in your browser: it's still there the next time you open the page. Clear empties it. For Chinese, the menu in the header tells whether the text is in traditional or simplified characters.
